About Us
Our social Club, built in 1869, is located at 2 Haviland Street, and is the former home of Esther Full-Lowden and her 3 daughters. Esther was a widow, a business woman and single parent in the Victorian Era.
Established in 1997, The Haviland Club is now the premier Social Club of Charlottetown.
Our Social Club is about a modern, progressive outlook on life, we are diverse, welcoming people from all backgrounds. Our Members are Islanders and Canadians from all over our vast country who have made PEI their home.
Our Membership is composed equally of women and men from 25 to 75 yrs of age. Several not for profit groups also enjoy the benefits of being members.
Our contribution to society as a Club has been recognized with patronage from prominent citizens in PEI.
This elegant 1869 building, with its beautifully appointed rooms, is the perfect place for parties or larger events to suit your needs.
