About Us
Stepscan® is a state-of-the-art computerized gait and mobility assessment technology. Through the use of a ground-breaking electronic, modular floor tiles and proprietary software, Stepscan tracks patterns of walking and balance as subjects move across the floor. Stepscan is being used in hospitals and clinics internationally in applications ranging from pre-surgery planning and post-operative assessment of Cerebral Palsy children, stroke rehabilitation, concussion screening, fitting of prosthetic limbs and for fall risk assessments for seniors.
Stepscan also supplies medical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to hospitals, healthcare facilities and businesses serious about infection protection in their facilities. Whereas non-medical masks have not been proven to protect the person wearing it, our medical masks, respirators, gowns and other products are manufactured in an ISO 13485 certified facility and conform to NIOSH criteria for filter efficiency.
