About Us
STEAM PEI is a non-profit organization that integrates learning across science, technology, engineering, arts and math to help children and youth develop competencies like critical thinking, communication and creativity – leading to better personal resiliency, problem solving, and improving their prospects in the knowledge economy.
STEAM PEI offers in-school experiences, after-school classes, birthday parties, special events, PD Day, and summer camps at schools and community centres all across PEI. STEAM PEI knows diversity of perspective is better for everyone and strives to reach youth in rural as well as urban areas of PEI, with a special focus on providing opportunities for girls, Indigenous and other visible minorities, and youth from low socio-economic backgrounds all who are traditionally under-represented in STEM fields.
