About Us
The Prince Edward Island Automobile Dealers Association (PEIADA) is the provincial association for franchised automobile dealerships that sell new vehicles in PEI (Class A). We are a self-funded not-for-profit association with Dealer Member dues collected based on sales numbers, and Associate Member dues collected at a flat rate.
Prince Edward Island new automobile dealers make up a valuable sector of the provincial economy, both as a retail-driven economic builder and retail tax generator, as well as a large employer.
The automotive industry is a critical part of Prince Edward Island’s economy, contributing $1.48 billion in 2024, representing 41.6 per cent of Prince Edward Island’s 2024 total retail trade. Beyond the very important value of local dealerships to the provincial economy, PEI automobile dealers are some of the most active and generous supporters of the community - local organizations, charities, hospitals, sports, and cultural organizations.
