About Us
The Prince Edward Island College of Pharmacy (formerly PEI Pharmacy Board) is a body originally incorporated in 1983 with the Pharmacy Act statute under the Laws of Prince Edward Island, Pharmacy Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. P-6. The PEI College of Pharmacy was established in September 2014 pursuant to the Regulated Health Professions Act R.S.P.E.I. 2013 Cap. R-10.1.
The purpose of the Prince Edward Island College of Pharmacy is to regulate the practice of pharmacy in the province so as to promote a high standard and safeguard the welfare of the public with regard to pharmaceutical service.
