About Us

Murphy’s Pharmacies began operating in 1981 when founders Ray and Carolyn Murphy purchased their first pharmacy in Parkdale, PEI. Over the past 40 years, Murphy’s Pharmacies has grown to include many pharmacy locations across PEI.

Throughout the years, Murphy’s Pharmacies has placed a strong emphasis on caring for the community with the mandate of building healthier communities across Prince Edward Island. This approach has involved supporting a wide-range of community initiatives and one of our biggest community initiatives was opening the not-for-profit Murphy’s Community Centre (the former Basilica Recreation Centre located at 200 Richmond Street in Charlottetown) in 2006.
