The Law Society of Prince Edward Island is the regulatory body for the Island's lawyers and its main objectives are: to protect the public interest by receiving and dealing with complaints about a lawyer's conduct; to establish standards for the education, professional responsibility, and competence of members and applicants for membership; to ensure the independence, integrity and honour of the society and its members; to regulate the practice of law.
