About Us
Island Nature Trust is a membership-based, non-government, not-for-profit, Canadian charity dedicated to land conservation in Price Edward Island since 1979.
Our mandate is to acquire and protect land with representative natural ecosystems; steward our properties to retain and restore their ecological values; assist private landowners to manage and protect their own properties; monitor and protect Species-at-Risk and biodiversity; and deliver numerous immersive outreach opportunities to connect Islanders of all ages to local natural ecosystems.
