About Us

Fritz Chocolates – that is finest Belgian chocolate treats and almond-based confections proudly handmade in St. Peters Bay, PEI.

Owners Mike and Jessica Fritz with roots in Germany launched their sweets business in 2017 with a typical European product, marzipan. They continue to create these specialty confections under the brand Maritime Marzipan by Fritz, but their business growth took off with the addition of a line of solid chocolate bars and confections to the mix. Fritz Chocolates was born.

High-quality ingredients, no artificial flavours nor preservatives are what the brand stands for. Collaboration with other local food producers is one way of connecting with the Island community; like making local sea salt or coffee infused chocolates.

Fritz Chocolates distributes wholesale and runs its own retail locations year-round at Founders Food Hall & Market and seasonally at the St. Peters Landing.
