About Us
ECO-PEI is a registered charity that began in 1989, with a mandate to understand, appreciate and improve the health of our environment. Our main effort is the Macphail Woods Ecological Forestry Project, on the Macphail Homestead in Orwell. Our 2-hectare native plant nursery grows some of the rarest plants in the province. We offer extensive educational opportunities, from children's programs to natural history workshops, and manage 800 hectares of Public Forest Land for the province.
