SkillsPEI                                                                                                                                                              SkillsPEI is a division of the Department of Workforce and Advanced Learning.  It was established in 2009 to manage the delivery of training and skills development programming funded by the Canada-Prince Edward Island Labour Market Development Agreement and Canada-PEI Job Fund Agreement. The mandate of the division is to assist unemployed Islanders develop the skills required to successfully gain long term employment.  We invest in the local labour force and those who generate employment in PEI.  Approximately 4,500 Islanders gain assistance through our division annually.  We will presenting on current programs offered through SkillsPEI who qualifies for them.
