The PEI Business Summit is a vital gathering for the Island’s business community, bringing together leaders, innovators, and decision-makers to shape the future of business in Prince Edward Island. In today’s rapidly evolving economic landscape, collaboration and shared insights are more important than ever. This in-person event provides a unique opportunity for business leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and explore new strategies that drive growth and success.
Featuring keynote speakers Nik Nanos, Amber Mac and Steve Jones, along with engaging discussions on the future of business, the summit fosters meaningful conversations that inspire innovation, leadership, and adaptability. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, executive, or industry expert, this is your chance to learn, evolve, and empower your business for the future.
The event features three engaging panel discussions focused on key economic and business challenges:
1. Workforce Challenges: Solving Labour Shortages & Retention Issues
This panel will explore strategies to address skilled labour shortages, improve employee retention,
and create a positive workplace culture. Discussions will include innovative immigration approaches,
workforce development, and best practices for attracting and keeping talent in competitive industries.
2. Provincial Trade Barriers: Breaking Down Interprovincial Challenges
Industry leaders will examine the regulatory and logistical hurdles that limit trade between provinces.
The conversation will focus on reducing red tape, aligning regional policies, and unlocking opportunities to strengthen
interprovincial commerce and collaboration.
3. Expanding into New Markets: Beyond the US & Canada
As businesses look to diversify beyond North American markets, this panel will discuss strategies for
global expansion.
Topics will include export readiness, market selection, risk management, and how businesses can successfully
