Dennis Campbell, President – Ambassatours Gray Line

Dennis Campbell started his career in the motorcoach tour industry at age of 7 when he realized that “little old ladies have a lot of money”. Dennis later started his own tour company at age 15. He started a tourism publishing company at age 19 and started his own bus company at age 21.
Dennis has been named the Metro Halifax Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year as well as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. His company has 3 times been voted One of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies and one of the top 101 companies in Atlantic Canada. Ambassatours has also been voted as one of the top 10 Best Companies to Work For in Atlantic Canada. In 2009 Dennis was inducted into the Atlantic Business Magazine Top 50 CEO Business Hall of Fame.
Ambassatours Gray Line has become the largest tour, shore excursion and charter coach operator in Nov Scotia and the second largest in Atlantic Canada with 85 buses in 7 Maritime towns and cities. Ambassatours is the “Company with the Kilts” and is the only company in North America with kilted drivers, guides and cruise ship staff. In 2011 Ambassatours Gray Line launched in Saint John New Brunswick the first sightseeing rail tour to be introduced to the cruise ship industry in North America in 25 years. He has recently secured from Fisher Price Mattel the Maritime rights for Day Out With Thomas, a name brand four season family rail tour festival.
Dennis is the founder of an international charitable program called “Big Buses for Little Kids” kick starting wish kids’ dreams making them feel like Rock Stars! In 2010, Dennis and his team founded a brand licensing company called “Big Pink Sightseeing” which has opened in 7 locations and 45 pink buses in the last 3 years and donates a portion of the proceeds from every tour passenger back to various Breast Cancer Foundations. New York is the newest Big Pink licensed location. Dennis has a goal to donate in excess of $1,000,000 to Breast Cancer Foundations in the next 5 years.
