2026 Premier's Spring Address

The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host the inaugural Premier’s Spring Address on March 23 at 11:30 a.m. at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel.

 This exclusive luncheon will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear directly from the Premier of Prince Edward Island ahead of the spring sitting of the Legislative Assembly, the Speech from the Throne, and the provincial budget.

During the address, the Premier will outline the government’s priorities and policy direction for the year ahead, highlighting the issues shaping Prince Edward Island and the opportunities facing Islanders and our communities.

Attendance is limited to 130 guests, creating an intimate setting for Chamber members, partners, and community leaders to gather and hear directly from provincial leadership.

The Premier's remarks will be livestreamed by the Government of Prince Edward Island to ensure that his message is accessible to all islanders.

The Honourable Rob Lantz serves as the 34th Premier of Prince Edward Island, continuing in the role following his reappointment in February 2026.

A lifelong resident of District 13, Charlottetown–Brighton, Premier Lantz is a graduate of the University of Prince Edward Island and Holland College. He was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for District 13 on April 3, 2023. He has previously served as Minister of Housing, Land, and Communities, and as Minister of Education and Early Years, and first assumed office as Premier on February 21, 2025.

Prior to entering provincial politics, Premier Lantz served two terms on Charlottetown City Council representing Charlottetown–Brighton and has been actively involved in community organizations including the United Way and the Colonel Gray Education Foundation. His professional background includes advisory, partnership, and investment roles in emerging business ventures, as well as consulting in the information technology sector.
