Tax season 2021 promises to be one for the history books. With millions of Canadians losing their jobs and receiving COVID-19 income support, and many pivoting to make ends meet in a pandemic, tax preparers are bracing for complex returns and taxpayer anxiety.
In this session you will learn about the alternatives for claiming workspace expenses, what's new for the 2021 tax season and other general tips and reminders.
Jennifer Dunn,

Jennifer is a Tax Partner in the Charlottetown office of BDO Canada LLP and she is also a member of the Board of Directors of BDO Canada LLP. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience providing proactive tax planning and compliance services to a wide range of private companies and their shareholders.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, with Honours, from the University of Prince Edward Island. Further, she has her Chartered Accountant designation and completed the In-depth Tax Course offered by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. She continued her studies and received the Trust and Estate Practitioner designation in 2006.
Jennifer is a member of CPA Prince Edward Island, CPA Canada, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Jennifer enjoys volunteering in her community is a past-President of the PEI Business Women’s Association and the Rotary Club of Hillsborough.
