A workplace injury can cost your business more than you think. Knowing your business’s requirements under the Occupational Health & Safety Act is a great place to start to prevent costly injuries and avoid safety violations. This session will cover the basic health and safety requirements for small employers, including requirements for training and posting of information, and some common regulations including first aid.
Lori Wakelin is one of WCB’s education consultants, dedicated to keeping Island workplaces safe by helping employers and workers understand their responsibilities in preventing workplace injuries and illnesses.
