Grant Thornton Poirier will be presenting a discussion of some of the pitfalls of being in business, both self-employed and incorporated, covering such aspects as the effects of giving a personal guaranty and the statutory obligations as directors of an incorporated company. The presentation will address how the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act may assist in the remedy of these obligations and to provide information about possible options available to you when you have customers and/or suppliers that are experiencing financial difficulty.
