2013 Vogue Optical Charlottetown Race Week

Schedule: 

• Friday July 12-13. The 50th Shediac to Charlottetown yacht race, hosted by the Northumberland Strait Yachting Association. The race ends in Charlottetown Friday July 12 through Saturday July 13. Charlottetown Yacht Club is hosting a celebration supper and awards ceremony.
• Monday July 15. Regular Monday evening CYC white sail race. Special prize for fastest visiting boat.
• Wednesday July 17. Heart and Stroke Flotilla. We invite the public to try out boating aboard sail boats, power boats and dinghies. Pre-register at this website to ensure your space. Donations to Heart and Stroke PEI welcome.
• Thursday July 18 to Saturday July 20. Vogue Optical CYC Race Week regatta,  a Charlottetown classic for more than 30 years. Three spectacular days of racing in one of the finest sailing venues in Atlantic Canada.
• Friday July 19. Enjoy live entertainment and dance to Halifax’s Hopping Penguins.
• Saturday July 20. More events for members of the public, including Able Sail race, and more. CYC is your family access to the water.
• Saturday July 20. Wind up Race Week by winding down to another night of live entertainment by Halifax’s Hopping Penguins.
