Description
Did you know that every workplace needs a first aid kit? Or that every workplace with even one worker will need to have someone trained in first aid? In January 2013, the Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations pertaining to first aid will change. This lunch and learn session will cover important information on first aid kits, training, and record maintenance. Find out your responsibilities so you can be prepared for the changes this January.

Lori Wakelin is an Occupational Health & Safety Education Consultant for the Workers Compensation Board of PEI. She has been with the Workers Compensation Board for 14 years, and since 2007 has been helping Island workers and employers understand their roles in injury prevention. Lori provides ongoing education, support, and guidance to workplaces on the PEI Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
